First Nations Collaborative (December)

  • Nintiringanyi Indigenous Corporation 16-18 McCormack Street Manunda, QLD, 4870 Australia (map)

Life Promotion and Suicide Prevention FNQ and Strategic Indigenous Solutions (SIS) warmly invite you to share your voice, experience, and insights.

The First Nations Collaborative brings together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders, services and community members with a lived experience to share stories, knowledge, and ideas. It is a space where we can strengthen partnerships and co-design solutions that drive meaningful, community-led change that works for First Nations people.

At the heart of it, we want to create a culturally safe place for yarning, shared learning, and collective action, so our communities lead the change in suicide prevention.

This next session together we will:

  • Map our key, primary and secondary stakeholders

  • Look at who has influence, and who is missing from the conversation

  • Explore how advocacy works, and how our collective voice can guide system priorities

  • Finalise the top actions we want to take forward in 2026

Date: Friday, 5 December
Time: 10.00am  - 12:30pm (followed by light lunch)
Location: Nintiringanyi Indigenous Corporation,
16-18 McCormack St, Manunda

If you wish to attend, please RSVP to Tiana Thomas at tiana@strategicindigenoussolutions.com.au
